15-Minute Deluxe Wok Noodles

Looking for an easy Chinese noodle recipe you can make in just 15 minutes? These glossy, umami-rich wok noodles are packed with authentic flavor and the perfect balance of salt, heat, and texture. Serves 2–3 / Ready in 15 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • Egg noodles 125 g
  • Ground chicken 250 g
  • Eggs 2–3
  • Mushrooms 125 g
  • Broccoli 1/2 head
  • Carrot 1
  • Garlic, finely chopped (4 cloves)
  • Fresh ginger, grated (1 tsp)
  • Soy sauce 2–3 tbsp
  • Sugar, salt, pepper
  • Toasted nuts (optional)
  • MeiMei Umami Oil
  • MeiMei Black Bean Magic
  • MeiMei Chili Oil

METHOD

  1. Cook the egg noodles al dente according to package instructions.
  2. Heat 1–3 tbsp MeiMei Umami Oil in a wok or large pan.
  3. Sauté the garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add the ground chicken and cook through. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add a splash of beer and let the alcohol cook off.
  6. Add the broccoli and mushrooms and stir-fry for a few minutes.
  7. Stir in the grated ginger, 1 tsp sugar, and 2–3 tbsp soy sauce.
  8. Mix in 2–3 tsp MeiMei Black Bean Magic for deep umami flavor.
  9. Add the noodles and julienned carrot. Toss everything together for a few minutes.
  10. Fry the eggs in MeiMei Umami Oil and Chili Oil until crispy at the edges. Season lightly.
  11. Plate the wok noodles.

Drizzle with extra Chili Oil, and top with toasted nuts.
